TINA VALENTI

Tina is Chief Financial Officer for the Teach the World Foundation. She is an experienced finance executive with an extensive career and academic training in finance and project management. Tina advises non-profits on financial, compliance, and operational issues.

Tina was formerly the Controller and Director of Finance for CariSal LLC, a specialty chemicals firm with both domestic and international operations.  Tina was integral in the start-up of several manufacturing and service firms, where her work spanned incorporation, capital structure, treasury, and management of local, state, and national tax and compliance matters.

Previously, Tina worked at Mobil Oil Corporation and ExxonMobil Corporation, where she managed multi-million dollar capital improvement investments, developed a downstream Marine Logistics strategy saving over $10 Million, and negotiated purchase and leasing of hundreds of millions of dollars in assets to reduce operating costs by 30%.

Tina has an MBA in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business, where she graduated as a Palmer Scholar; she also holds a Bachelors degree in Engineering from Michigan State University.
