NARJIS ALI
Narjis is the Founder and CEO of the award-winning company Sure Secure Solutions, based in the Washington DC metro area, which provides IT services to major US Government organizations. These include NASA, the US Army, and the US Customs and Border Protection Agency, as well as local agencies and private companies.
An innovative entrepreneur, thought leader, and community visionary with over 30 years years of experience in scaling businesses, providing IT services and expertise on strategy consulting and negotiations, Narjis defines compassionate leadership with her exceptional organizational and project leadership skills. In her career Narjis has demonstrated a unique ability to lead in the business arena as well as in the non-profit world with her superior problem solving, team building, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Narjis is a pioneer in IT education in Pakistan, having launched the first IT course for O levels and A levels for University of Cambridge, and the first B.Sc. Information Systems class for London School of Economics. She is also the founder of Lahore Software in Pakistan.
Narjis is heavily involved in many non-profit efforts including for a global entrepreneurial organization, educational and cancer institutes.
Narjis is the recipient of many awards in recent years including the ASHA for Women Award of Excellence, Heroines in Technology® Awards 2011, Smart CEO Brava Award and an SBA Emerging Leader. She is also a sought-after keynote speaker and has spoken at multiple leadership conferences and educational institutes including OPEN DC, OPEN Houston, OPEN Islamabad MIT, Mont Clair University, Smith College.
Narjis has a Bachelors degree from the Punjab University, and is a Scholar Cohort 13 at Babson College.
