Why are we here?

Within Islamabad, we are working in two of the most remote sectors - Ali Pur Frash and Tamma. In these sectors, there is a severe shortage of teachers. The communities living here earn very low wages and include Afghan refugees who can barely make ends meet. 

What are we doing?

In October 2019, we launched a digital learning program in Islamabad in partnership with the Federal Government of Pakistan and the Moawin Foundation, a non-profit with the goal of providing health and education to the underserved population. We have a goal of providing quality education, so we operate in two public schools with 180 K-2 students.

What is the impact?

Our partners have been instrumental in helping us run this program. By coordinating with the Moawin Foundation, we can expand the program to 23 schools in Jhelum, Sheikhupura and Islamabad - engaging 8,700+ students and potentially expanding to the city of Gilgit-Baltistan. 

What’s next?

This program can serve as a showcase to the rest of Pakistan, allowing us to expand to an additional 400 schools.
